Growing up in a household burdened by the challenges of a profoundly disabled child, chronic parental illness, and the subsequent financial strain, music was not only an invaluable gift but a lifeline. It became a consistently safe space to retreat to, whispers you are not alone and it lets you process feelings that are too big to put into words.

This gift was given by a dedicated schoolteacher who advocated for music accessibility for all children, especially those who could not afford it. So, today, through her teaching, composing, and performing, The Techie Flutist loves to pass along this precious gift to future generations, inspiring and encouraging people from all walks of life. Giving them a safe place they can retreat to and a language that can express what cannot be put into words.
